Never got posted! Date written: Aug. 23, 9pm

This Was a post I wrote awhile back and tried to send from my phone, but it never actually got published!!

Well as usual, not following thru with new "idea" I have. It has already been a few days since I last blogged, which also happened to be the first blog of mine ever!! Anyways I am now, so that's allthat matters, right???
So, with the new leaf, comes new ideas!!
My second most recent (the blog being my first), I have decided to start back running. I would not only like to lose weight, who wouldn't, I would really like to enjoy it again. Before I joined the military, I occasionally ran, and I really enjoyed it. But now, not only have many years passed, but also one kid thru my loins. Although, seeing as he is now three years old, I don feel that I can actually blame it one him. So, to my real core issues.
1) I am naturally a lazy person. Although this laziness has limitations, which mean mostly that I don't do things I want to do!! We all say that at tmes, although actually never folks thru it.
2) I am mostly what my husband calls, "an Idea Fairy." I love to come up with solutions, or alternatives to various issues, as well as new ideas or plans. However, I have very little, if any, follow though

Been awhile

So it has been awhile since my last post, but a lot has gone on since then. So, on Sept. 10, me and my husband ran our first 5K, it was alright! And actually we both came in much sooner than we thought we would. The hubs came is at 29:50, and I came in at 37:57, which may seem like a long time to you guys, but for me, that it awesome, and it is at least 8 minutes faster than I expected! Overall, I think it was great for both of us. However, hellacious doesn't even begin to describe how I felt for the two days after the race. I have so many bodily issues, that my last physical therapist told me that she didn't think I would ever run again, and definitely not without any pain. So, what I think she really meant is that sure, you can run, but it is gonna suck sooooooo bad!!! Which is pretty much true, but I love it, and luckily there is minimal pain when I am actually running, it is more the "aftershocks" that I feels for the days to week afterwards!
Anyways, the week after that race, my husband ran the Warrior Dash in Manchester, TN. It was so awesome, I totally kick the shit out of myself for not doing it. It is a 5K course, with obstacles that include, cargo net climbs, wall climbs, scrambling over hay bales, and the final obstacle is crawling under barbed wire in a pit full of mud!! Watching it was amazing, I will definitely be doing one next year. We also have looked up a few more runs, and are planning for the Spartan Race, and the Tough Mudder!! Both are crazy, the Tough Mudder, the craziest. It is a 10K obstacle course, with one obstacle that has 10,000 volts of shock therapy dangling from wires that you have to run through!
Now for the last thing for the day, we have started school, finally! We are in our second week of massage therapy and pretty much loving it! We have one crappy teacher, but hopefully we can push through that Anatomy & Physiology class with each others help!
Well, listeners, I mean readers, I was gone, but now I am back, thanks for being here!
